Calculate the gross result of a completed trade.
Gross result before spread, commission, swap or broker fees.
How to Use Our Forex Profit Calculator
Choose the market, account currency and trade direction, then enter your entry price, exit price and position size. The calculator estimates the gross profit or loss of the trade and shows the price movement in pips or points.
How Trading Profit and Loss Are Calculated
Trading profit or loss depends on the distance between your entry and exit prices, the direction of the trade and the size of your position. A larger position increases both potential profit and potential loss.
Profit / Loss Example
If you buy an instrument at 1.1000 and close the trade at 1.1050, the price has moved in your favour. If you were selling instead, that same move would produce a loss. The final profit or loss depends on the size of the position as well as the distance between entry and exit.
You can also use the Pip Value Calculator to understand the value of each pip or point, and the Position Size & Lot Size Calculator to plan trade size before entering a position.
