Trader Tools Advertising
Advertising Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 28 September 2026.
These terms apply to paid advertising campaigns booked with GavOliv Ltd trading as My Trader Tools (“Trader Tools”). They should be read together with the general Trader Tools Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Advertising packages and booking
Advertising is offered subject to availability. Current standard packages are 7 days (£75), 14 days (£140) and 30 days (£250), unless a different price is shown at booking. A temporary reservation may hold selected dates while the advertiser completes the booking process. A booking is not secured until payment has been successfully completed.
2. Payment
Payments are taken in GBP through Stripe-hosted Checkout. Stripe processes the card payment; Trader Tools does not receive or store full card details. The amount, package and booked dates shown at checkout form part of the booking.
3. Review before submission
Advertisers are expected to check campaign wording, links, promo codes, offer details, claims and creative carefully before submitting and paying. Submitted and paid campaigns are locked from direct promoter editing and are subject to Trader Tools review before publication.
4. Campaign approval
Payment reserves the booked placement but does not guarantee approval of the submitted creative. Trader Tools may request reasonable corrections or refuse content that is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, infringing, technically unsuitable, inaccurate or inconsistent with site standards. If Trader Tools cannot approve a campaign and a suitable correction cannot reasonably be agreed, Trader Tools may cancel the booking and return the relevant advertising payment through the original payment method.
5. Correction requests
The Manage booking correction facility is an exceptional remedy for genuine mistakes or minor factual/content errors discovered after submission. It is not an ongoing editing service. Typical corrections include a spelling error, incorrect destination URL, incorrect promo code, small factual error or minor wording correction.
Repeated, piecemeal, excessive or cumulative requests that effectively rewrite, replace or materially alter the original campaign may be refused or treated as a new booking, reschedule or chargeable amendment. Material changes include replacing the core promotion, changing the advertised business or product, substantially rewriting the campaign, or changing the booked package, duration or dates through the correction process.
Correction requests are subject to review and are not guaranteed. Genuine corrections may also be requested while a campaign is live, but changes may not be applied immediately. A correction made during a live campaign does not restart or extend the booked campaign period unless Trader Tools expressly agrees otherwise.
6. Pending corrections or cancellation requests
If a pre-launch correction or cancellation request is awaiting Trader Tools action, publication may be placed on hold while the request is reviewed. Advertisers should submit requests promptly. A hold does not automatically extend or move the booked campaign dates unless Trader Tools expressly agrees otherwise.
7. Cancellation before launch
A promoter may request cancellation while an eligible campaign has not yet gone live. Cancellation requests are reviewed by Trader Tools and are not processed automatically from the promoter dashboard. Where an eligible campaign is cancelled before advertising begins, the agreed refund is returned through the original payment process and the booked dates are released.
8. Live campaigns
Once a campaign has gone live it is normally non-refundable. This does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, and Trader Tools may provide an appropriate remedy where it fails to deliver the booked advertising service.
9. Advertiser responsibility
The advertiser remains responsible for the accuracy, legality, permissions, claims, destination links, promo codes, offer terms, competition rules and other campaign material supplied. Destination pages should remain available and consistent with the approved campaign while it is live. Trader Tools may label paid placements as sponsored or advertising so visitors can distinguish them from Trader Tools content.
10. Timing and response
If Trader Tools requests a correction and the promoter does not respond in time, launch may be delayed. A delayed launch does not automatically extend the campaign unless Trader Tools expressly agrees otherwise.
11. Site protection and performance
Trader Tools may pause, amend or remove a campaign where reasonably necessary for legal, technical, accuracy, abuse, security or policy reasons. Advertising fees purchase placement for the booked period and do not guarantee impressions, clicks, leads, sales, rankings or trading results.
12. Manage booking requests
Change and cancellation requests are logged with timestamps and status. Requests that require Trader Tools action are reviewed by an administrator. Promoters should avoid duplicate requests while an existing request is open.
